How to Download the Amazon Settlement Report

What it is

A statement for each settlement period showing your sales, Amazon fees, refunds, TCS/TDS, and the amount paid to your bank.
It's the main file you need to check whether every order was paid correctly.

Sign in to Amazon Seller Central.
Open the menu (☰), then go to Finance → Manage payments.
Open the All Statements tab.
Set Account Type to Electronic Transactions (Credit Card/Net Banking/GC).
Click Download Flat File V2 on every statement period you need.
Change Account Type to Cash On Delivery Transactions and repeat step 5.
Change Account Type to Non-Transactional Fees and repeat step 5.
Keep the .txt files exactly as downloaded.

Don't skip the COD and Non-Transactional Fees statements. Without them, your COD orders and fees such as ads and storage will be missing.
To check one month of orders, download every statement from the one that was running on the 1st of that month, up to about two months later. That way, late payments and returns are included.
Amazon is retiring the older formats. Choose Flat File V2, not Flat File or XML.

Add your settlement files, together with your All Orders report, to Reconciliation in Ecommerce Tools.
See every order paid less than expected, returns that weren't deducted, and FBA returns that weren't reimbursed.

Why are there three account types?

Amazon pays prepaid orders, COD orders and fees in separate statements, so you need all three.

Can I open it in Excel?

Yes. It's a tab-separated text file. Keep the original file for Reconciliation.

What's the difference between Flat File and Flat File V2?

V2 groups every amount into three columns: type, description and amount. Amazon is replacing the older formats with V2.
